Leaf sketch done while at the Fabrications Retreat back in October. If you can possibly make it to northern Michigan next year, you HAVE to come to this. We have a great time. Laura Cater-Woods taught our class and I understand she has signed on for 2006 also. It will be interesting to see who else Cathy Arnett gets. You can bet it will be someone excellent. And the food that Desi (Vaughn) brought. Oh my. And wine.

Great groups of sketches. Enquiring minds want to know what do you have planned for these? Really love the last two especially the Florida sketch.

Hey Teri, Hi from Annie of QA! Wow, I love your absolutely wonderful art -- never realized you and I had so many interests in common. I am definitely a nature person, so your art really rocks for me!!! This idea of the 4" x 6" fabric postcards is really great. I am really looking forward to it! Peace and blessings, Annie

Quote:Apples and Wine: Women are like apples on trees. The best ones are at the top of the tree. Most men don't want to reach for the good ones because they are afraid of falling and getting hurt. Instead, they sometimes take the apples from the ground that aren't as good, but easy. The apples at the top think something is wrong with them, when in reality, they're amazing. They just have to wait for the right man to come along, the one who is brave enough & smart enough to climb all the way to the top of the tree. Now Men... Men are like a fine wine. They begin as grapes, and it's up to women to stomp the hell out of them until they turn into something acceptable to have dinner with.
